A great start to Term 4

Year 6 have had a great start to Term 4 and have been taking part in some exciting learning opportunities.

In science we have started to learn about the human body. As part of this, when learning about how our hearts work, we dissected a pig’s heart to find the different components. We could see the clear differences between the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood. We were very surprised at how thick some of the different parts were.

In addition to our science learning, we have also been taking part in our Charanga music lessons. In PE we have been participating in team building games. Take a look at us in action below:
